Terms and Conditions
The rules for using OnePress, buying presales, and uploading releases.
Last updated: 2 June 2026
These Terms are intended for users in the United Kingdom. They should be reviewed by your legal adviser before reliance in formal compliance programmes. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected where applicable.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the OnePress website and related services (the “Service”), operated by SoundOnShape.com Ltd (trading as OnePress, company number 16464812), part of the SoundOnShape.com Ltd group.
By accessing the Service, placing an order, uploading a presale, or signing in as a creator or administrator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law where applicable.
These Terms are provided for transparency and do not constitute legal advice.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "We", "us", and "our" mean SoundOnShape.com Ltd (trading as OnePress, company number 16464812) trading as OnePress.
- "You" means a visitor, customer (fan), creator (artist or label), or authorised administrator using the Service.
- "Presale" means a vinyl release listed for pre-order through the Service, often with optional merchandise.
- "Creator" means a person who uploads or manages a presale using a registered creator email.
- "Order" means a purchase placed through Stripe Checkout after items are added to your basket.
3. The Service
OnePress provides a platform to preview music, pre-order vinyl presales, and purchase related merchandise offered by creators. We facilitate listing, payment, production scheduling, and fulfilment coordination.
We may update, suspend, or withdraw features of the Service for operational, legal, or security reasons. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption to active presales and paid orders.
4. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to place an order or enter into a binding contract with us.
Creators must provide accurate contact details and only upload content they have the right to use. Administrator access is limited to emails we authorise.
5. Buying from the Service (fans & customers)
Browsing and checkout do not require a OnePress account. Payment and delivery details are collected by Stripe Checkout on our behalf.
Unless stated otherwise on a listing, presale vinyl is currently priced at £29.95 per unit and includes the standard vinyl package described on the site (minimum 140g record, full-colour album sleeve, disco insert). Merchandise prices are set by creators within platform minimums where applicable.
Prices are shown in GBP. Payment is taken when you complete checkout successfully. Your basket is cleared after redirect to Stripe.
You are responsible for providing correct delivery and contact information. We and our fulfilment partners rely on the details Stripe and you provide.
6. Presale orders & production timing
Presale vinyl is not always in stock at the time you order. Orders are grouped into monthly production runs. Fulfilment timing depends on which run your order joins.
Please allow a minimum of approximately 7–8 weeks for vinyl fulfilment from order, made up of the run month plus around four weeks for pressing. Other merchandise may be fulfilled sooner.
We will communicate dispatch and tracking through order confirmation, email, or support channels as processes are finalised. Dates are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, but we aim to meet them where reasonably possible.
7. Cancellations, changes & refunds
Because presales and custom production are involved, you may have limited rights to cancel once an order has entered a production run. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel within 14 days may not apply to custom-made or perishable goods, or goods sealed for health protection once unsealed — many presale vinyl orders fall within exceptions for made-to-order or personalised production.
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at the details below. We will honour mandatory consumer rights and any refund obligations required by UK law. Refunds, where agreed or required, are normally processed via the original payment method through Stripe.
If we cannot fulfil an order (for example due to a cancelled run or material error), we will offer a refund or alternative remedy in line with your consumer rights.
8. Creator terms
If you upload a presale, you confirm that:
- You own or have all licences needed for artwork, audio previews, and merchandise designs you submit;
- Information you provide (names, titles, bio, pricing) is accurate and not misleading;
- You will respond to reasonable requests from us about production files or fulfilment;
- You accept that fan prices for merchandise must meet platform minimums and that your share of merchandise sales is based on the margin split described on the site and in our FAQ (typically 70% of the sale margin to you after fulfilment and platform costs, unless otherwise agreed in writing).
9. Creator content & moderation
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and use uploaded content solely to operate the Service (including previews, production files, and marketing of the presale on our channels where appropriate).
We may remove or refuse content that infringes third-party rights, breaches law, or is otherwise inappropriate. We may suspend creator access where we reasonably suspect breach of these Terms.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, its branding, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors. You must not copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
Creators retain ownership of their uploads subject to the licence in section 9. Customers receive ownership of physical goods on delivery and no broader rights to underlying recordings or artwork.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- Attempt unauthorised access to admin, creator, or other accounts;
- Interfere with security, pricing, or checkout systems;
- Upload malware or content that is defamatory, harassing, or hateful;
- Resell presale inventory in a way that misrepresents the Service or harms creators without permission.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost profit or goodwill) arising from use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a specific order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order through the Service, except where a higher limit is required by law.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (including supplier delay, customs, industrial action, or network outages).
13. Your consumer rights (UK)
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These Terms do not affect those rights.
For questions about faulty goods or misdescription, contact us with your order email and release title. We will work with fulfilment partners to provide repair, replacement, or refund where the law requires.
14. Third-party services
Payments are processed by Stripe. Their terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing. Cloud storage, email, and hosting may be provided by third parties as described in our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, but we choose reputable providers for core functions.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have rights under local law and can bring proceedings in your local courts where mandatory consumer protections allow.
We prefer to resolve complaints informally first — please contact us using the details below.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the Service where appropriate.
Orders placed before a change are generally governed by the Terms in force at checkout, unless a change is required by law or benefits you.
